Avalanche Course
Take advantage of your week's vacation to acquire or deepen all the knowledge necessary to gain autonomy in your practice and evolve as much as possible in complete safety during your winter hikes in the mountains thanks to our new product "Avalanche Course". Very few ski touring or snowshoeing practitioners are aware of the need for initiation into the mountains in winter, snow, avalanches, the use of the transceiver ...
An information session is essential for safety, both individual and collective.
Thanks to his years spent in mountain rescue, our instructor, avalanche dog master, will share his experience so that the mountains are always a pleasure.
In the form of one-and-a-half hour course with two different levels to allow the general public to learn or improve the techniques of finding avalanche victims, our instructor, ski patroller and handler will teach participants the techniques basic for the search and rescue of avalanche victims: DVA search, sounding, shoveling, taking charge of an avalanche.
COURSE 1: "initiation / awareness"
COURSE 2: "reading the terrain and identifying the risk"
The goal of our educational course is to gain autonomy in preparing for and driving a winter hike. You will study snow thanks to nivology, but also approach the human factors and the psychological aspects of risk management by finding methods for your decision-making.
