Team building mountain

We can meet all your team building needs in our mountain adventure parks.
Our parks are maintained all year round, offering the ideal location for various multi activity challenges. We have ‘lumberjack’ cabins and Trapper tents which provide an authentic mountain setting.

TEAM CHALLENGES AND BONDING

You will have selected your teams prior to arrival.
Each team will be greeted and supervised throughout the activities by a fully qualified instructor.
The challenges can run, depending on the number of participants and the activities chosen, as a single challenge or as two or more challenges linked together using the Tyrolean zip wire or snow shoes as a means of transport.
(NB. The Olympic bobsleigh run lies at the lowest point of La Plagne and we can include Bobsleighing as a challenge on its own which needs to be travelled to. Alternatively we can include Bobsleighing in a combined event organising the second challenge actually at the Bobsleigh site)
Points will be awarded to the teams throughout the challenges to motivate participants and encourage pulling together using tactics, team spirit and a will to win!
At the end of the challenge there will be an awards ceremony with a podium, medals and prizes!

ORIENTEERING

Your teams will have been selected prior to arrival.
Each team will be supervised by a fully qualified instructor.
The team leader will be given a road book, compass, map and food for the race.
The course commences either on foot or on snow shoes, depending on the time of year, and a minimum of 3 check points must be visited. Woodcutting, archery and shooting challenges can be included in the course.  It might also be possible to include a bobsleigh run!

Points will be awarded to the teams throughout the challenges to motivate participants and encourage pulling together using tactics, team spirit and a will to win!

At the end of the challenge there will be an awards ceremony with a podium, medals and prizes!

SLALOM RACE

Our qualified Ski instructors will accompany you from your hotel to the Slalom ‘Stadium’ where the race course ‘fleche’ will have been prepared for your race. The starting list will be displayed in the finish area and race bibs will be handed out. Once you have your number and bib you are ready to go and check out the course.
Instructors will be on hand to coach you on the course prior to the actual race. They will help you chose the best line and trajectory to take to optimise your speed and time.
All the competitors will then proceed to the starting line. Once you have completed your descent you will wait in the finish area to encourage your fellow racers, applause, cow bells, cheering, anything goes to create a real race atmosphere! Throughout the duration of the Slalom, mulled wine will be served.
Times and finishing positions will be announced during the medal ceremony on the winners podium in the finish area.
